 Often, the starting point for a new product design is an industrial design volume consisting of sculpted, free form surfaces. ATA can turn the surface model into a virtual prototype solid geometry model which can then be used as the basis for evaluating the product. We can perform evaluations that include everything from interference checks and statistical tolerance analysis to mold flow checks and NC machining simulations. We can also export the model in STL format for generating a rapid prototype. |
