What Is PressMap?

PressMap is a pressure data interpolator from a CFD model to an I-deas® or NASTRAN FE model. PressMap takes data on discrete points over the surface of a structure and maps this data onto an I-deas or NASTRAN structural model. The geometry of the structural model is used to determine how the interpolation of the data is to be performed.

To obtain a demo license for PressMap, request your 30 day trial license here! To obtain your permanent license file for PressMap, follow these steps:

1. Download and install ATAServer, following the installation directions. You can download and install PressMap at this time as well.
2. Run the hostid executable, which generates a file called hostid.txt containing the information we need to generate your license.
3. the hostid.txt file to us, and we will generate a PressMap license and e-mail it back.
4. Put the license file in the ATAServer installation directory and restart the server. Details for this operation are found in the ATAServer documentation.
